Flavoring Already Flavored Green Tea

Green tea is drank by many people today and carries numerous health benefits. However, some people are turned off by its seaweed-like flavor. It is because of this that different versions of green tea (i.e green milk tea) are regularly released intended on providing an improved and alternate taste. The funny thing is that green tea is already flavored, but people understand what you mean when you distinguish plain green tea from flavored green tea.

With sugar added to improve the taste of traditional green tea there is no denying that it does taste better for many people. But flavored green tea doesn’t have to be unhealthy. Green tea can be sweet and delicious and still retain its healthy content. One great way of naturally sweetening your green tea is by adding fruit flavor. With just a tiny piece of mango or apple added to your green tea, you will greatly improve the taste. The fruit you choose depends on your preference.

In the midst of your experimentation with flavors, it doesn’t hurt to give plain Chinese green tea another try. The flavor of your green tea can depend on factors such as whether you use fresh leaves or a tea bag and whether you use filtered or tap water. By using only the very best ingredients, you will be able to get the best flavor out of your green tea. With fresh leaves and purified water you are guaranteed a better taste as opposed to the artificial taste carried with tap water. How hot or cold your water is will also affect the results. A good method of preserving the flavor is to wait for the boiled water to cool a bit before pouring it in. In the end the best cup of green tea is one made with fresh leaves and filtered clean water which is set at the right temperature.
